Hadi H Al Hamman Group, a leading service provider to the offshore industry in the Middle East, is pleased to announce the successful phase I implementation of the ABS Nautical Systems (ABS NS) fleet management software. Hadi turned to ABS Nautical Systems for a comprehensive solution that could support their current operation and grow with their business.

The team determined that a phased approach to rolling out NS Enterprise would lead to greater adoption of the tool. Phase 1 of the project included the NS Maintenance, Purchasing, Crew and HSQE Managers. Phase II will integrate NS Drydock, Document Management and Vetting Managers.

Faizan Alam, Head of Information Technology at Hadi worked closely with Saqib Kasim, Director of the PMO at ABS NS, and his project management team to ensure success from the beginning. The ABS NS Implement for Success methodology utilized by the team enabled them to effectively map the Hadi business processes into the NS Enterprise application and efficiently migrate data from legacy systems. A “Train the Trainer” program will allow the Hadi team to transition to the new tool using internal resources.

Hadi is currently in the process of rolling the application out to Hadi’s 40 vessel fleet.
